As summer started to roll to a close, we started with our annual trip to the Aronson cabin. This was our "final hurrah!" before baby. (So we thought) I wanted to mentally prepare to have an early baby since Dean was so late, so that I was not thrown off... of course he was a week late.
The cabin was a blast! Although it was a bummer that I was tired 8 months pregnant, we still had a blast. Tons of beach time, making a Hamburger Ninjas 3, campfires, smores, Little Nicki's and lots of cousin time. Not to forget the activities I couldn't participate in: bags, beach volleyball, staying up late and long walks.
After the cabin we didn't plan a ton of events because of fear that the baby would come and we wouldn't be able to participate! So we did a lot of baby prep, family time, zoo visits, beach time and preparing for school. Nicole and Elizabeth also came to visit a week before my mom arrived! Dean sure loved "Baby"
I started working giving my class reading assessments, and starting the first day of workshop week, but quickly realized working past your due date is awful and I took the last 4 days before baby came to rest and relax with my mom pre-baby Boy!
