2017: Working Full time, Loving the babies and getting in a groove

I can't believe this is my first post of 2017, and it's already March. They are right, the days are long but the years are short.

Boys with Tori when we had Conferences til 8
We are finally starting to settle into life as a dual-working family of 4. We have our morning routine, daycare drop offs/pick ups, afternoon routine and weekend relax time. Aside from a challenging group at work (that is getting easier) we've managed to find our groove.... except for the month long colds and every 3-day weekend stomach bug routine we've established.

I'm starting to feel like me again, not just a mom of a newborn. I can't do my daily yoga anymore, and we went from YMCA 3 times a week, to once, but I'm teaching my OULA dance class again and feel like my endurance is back. I'm enjoying DoTerra essential oil get togethers, dinner making parties and Lula "pop ups". Mark is excited for some boys club fun coming up in a few weeks when I take our boys to NC for Spring Break.

Speak of  the boys, they are starting to play together and it's so cute. Dean loves to "make my brother smile. He makes me smile too! He's my froiend, and mommy, daddy and Cici. And they are my family. They make me happy." Dean still has wicked tantrums but is never (fingers crossed) aggressive at his brother, and is an all around sweet happy, strong-willed boy. He's atarting to create his own thoughts, stories and ideas, and listens intentlyt (and repeats "oh shit!") whatever we say.

Some of my favorite things he says:
When mad "stop kalking (talking) at me! You're not invited to my birthday! Daddy you made me sad and now I have tears in my eyes! QUIET!!!!" *while waving hands wildly
When happy "That makes me smile! My birthday is coming right up! Hi bro, good morning bro, I see you bro, you want toys bro!!!? I'm putting my choo choo's night nights. Mommy you forgot to give me a kiss.
Cause and effect: "Yes mommy, we're going to the doctor, because you fell down the stairs, and you got an owie, so you need a band-aid and he'll fix it!"

Benny is growing up himself too! Yesterday was his 1/2 birthday, 6 months old! He's moving ALL over, rolling like crazy, loving food (especially sweet potatoes) still sleeping decent 7-7ish waking 1-3 times, not quite sitting up, laughing any time he sees his dad or brother, crying to get what he wants. Overall still a very happy laid back baby.

We haven't done any big things yet this year aside from a quick trip to Atlanta to see my cousin Laura get married, and it was a fun trip, though unexpectedly sad with too many sick family members and a snow storm that kept many people away.

Other than that just normal every day life. Lots of cooking when I can, trying to enjoy the outdoors, and taking each day at a time :)
