Winter is ending???

In true Minnesota fashion we keep getting teases of the end of winter, followed by 8-24 inches of snow. That being said there is definitely a lighter feeling in the air, and melting throughout the day that reminds us this won't last forever. This month mother nature TRIED to break a record by snowing almost 2 feet and giving us 2 days off school BEFORE the snow started, but alas, we didn't make it to the top 3 snowfalls of all time. The boys still had a great time, and while I had twinges of Covid Isolation feeling again, it was fun to see them all playing.

This month also marked the end of hockey, but included many games, scrimmages, a party, and a jamboree. I LOVE watching my boys play (and Gordie is included in that ;), but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't SUPER excited about a 1 month break before the AAA seasons starts.

February 18th, our "baby" turned 3. Sweet little Gordie. He give so many hugs, and snuggles, he LOVES being with his brothers, he calls his hands his "frands", he potty trained himself in a day, and got rid of the pacifier (after 2 awful screaming nights). Even though he is starting to assert himself, and tell us "I DO IT" and "I KNOW MOM", he is a sweet pie and I feel so lucky that we get to have him as ours.

Lastly, this month we did a lot of the things we always do. I continued walking every day (even though I do NOT want to walk in the cold anymore). I am continuing to cook my way through a cookbook, and enjoying most meals. We went to the zoo and got to see the dolphins who are visiting. We had playdates that left me stressed out. I worked the stress out teaching Yoga, Oula, happy hours with the girls, and Coffee Flight dates with friends.  We got a new microwave, and the kids were crazy and wrestled 24/7 and of course they continued swim, soccer and school.
