September brought something magical.... OUR KIDS LEFT US. Now don't get me wrong. I love my kids. But after being with them 24/7 (NO LIE) for 6 months... and having added a third. We were ready for some "normalcy" However abnormal it truly was.
Benny turned 4 and soccer continued. Going to school/work in a mask became a norm. We enjoyed parks, and hikes (kind of :) and the boys loved being back with peers.
We made our annual trip to the apple orchard, and needless to say orchard with 5 boys is STRESSFUL :)
October brought our first colds (NOT fun during a pandemic), a little bit of cooler weather, fall leaves, and cute baby hair. Oh, and I started a new job! Now Mark and I have the same job... both working from home... on the same time. So, we're pretty much ALWAYS together. Now we both support teachers teaching digitally (pretty important especially when everyone is teaching distance learning!).
We continued to enjoy our fall leaves, some traditions, found a pumpkin patch (with briars... hence the tears), went on a fall cabin trip and enjoyed cute Halloween Pjs. Oh, and of course there was that October blizzard!
The end of October brought parking lot OULA dancing (who doesn't teach fitness classes in parking lots!??!), and LOTS of Halloween.
Then came November, unseasonably warm. We enjoyed more parks, the start of Holiday decorations, of course the election, (and a celebration of no more TRUMP), a little snow, a little grandparents, and lots of baking.
We then were able to take the end of November and drive 81/2 hours to see MY FAMILY! We stayed in 2 different houses, and tried to take as many Covid precautions as we could, and it was so soul-filling. We got to go to a new state (Indiana!) stayed at an aweome air b and b on the beach (Lake Michigan), got to explore a national park (Indiana Sand Dunes) and spent LOTS of time snuggling and playing outside in the playground in our backyard (and we left smelling like bonfire :)
